Motherhood is without a doubt the most joyful and challenging adventure I have been on yet. It brings with it the highest of highs and lowest of lows and every emotion in between. When Parker was first born, everything else sort of melted away and we spent the first two weeks in a total state of baby haze; sleeping, feeding her, feeding myself, repeat. It was actually pretty amazing. Then over the next few weeks, we began to venture out. We ran simple errands to the grocery store together and joined a mommy and me group where we got to enjoy the company of other moms and similarly aged babies. At two months in, Aaron and I went on our first postpartum dinner date and I began posting regularly again to the blog. With each passing week and month as I found time for many of the pre-baby parts of my life, I was also stripping out a lot of non-essentials. I packed up 75% of my closet and experimented with a capsule wardrobe. I also tossed out the majority of beauty products littering my bathroom drawers if I wasn't 100% in love with them. Ironically, Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant is a product I discovered in the process and love.
Not only does it go on instantly dry and keep you feeling fresh for 48 hours, it’s formulated with moisturizers so your underarms feel soft and smooth. One part of my post-baby routine that took me the longest to incorporate back into daily life was working out. It feels like such an extravagant use of time when time is so precious and even when I can convince myself that it is worthwhile (which it totally is!) the logistics of childcare and scheduling around work are another obstacle that has to be hurdled. When Dove asked if I would share about my love of their dry spray deodorant, I thought it would be the perfect excuse to also share my 10 minute cardio workout that you can do at home, in your backyard, in a park, in a hotel room, and just about anywhere else! If you have kids, they can even play nearby... and this Dove deodorant will keep you dry so you're ready to jet off to your next adventure!
Have you tried Dove Dry Spray? How do you incorporate working out into your busy schedule? I'm always on the hunt for new ideas!
