Happy Friday, friends! It seems like we are barreling towards summer, faster and faster, and I couldn't be more excited! We are t-minus 10 days until Memorial Day and just in case thoughts of long, leisurely days, warm weather, and tropical cocktails aren't enough to get you in the mood for this season of all seasons, Matt dropped off this playlist which should surely do the trick! Speaking of Matt, he is quite the in-demand music supervisor these days! He just made a big move from Disney to NBC-Universal and we couldn't be more proud of him! Congrats Matt! Without further ado, I would definitely hit play on this little number if I were you... Happy weekend!

Panic! At The Disco - Hallelujah
Chicago sample and massive (irreverent) chorus. I'm in. Fun way to start.
Tame Impala - I'm A Man
This one is an ultimate grower. At first I was a little thrown off by the chill vibe, but now I can't stop listening. Listen 10x before you make a judgement...even if you aren't a man.
Lianne LaHavas - Unstoppable
I 100% agree. She is not.
Wilsen - Garden
The reverb electric guitar pulls in the chorus are what got me on this one.
Mew - Witness
As you may know, I'm obsessed with Mew. My wife can't stand it when I listen. Sorry Beth.
Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Multi-Love
Kind of the same thing happened with this as with the Tame Impala song. So good
Kopecky - Talk To Me
No longer a "Family Band" and I'm digging the updated sound.
Natalie Taylor - Wildfire
Got this song pitched to me awhile ago and it's been a fav of mine ever sense. Check out her new EP. Great voice and super talented writer.
Joywave - Now
This is one of those bands I really want to see live. The energy of their songs must be great in concert.
Christine and the Queens - Saint Claude
I don't know French, but I like this. Her videos are pretty rad too.
Ivan & Alyosha - Bury Me Deep
Another band that I'm glad is still around. It's always good to have acts that plug in real instruments and play real songs.
Braids - Taste
This one just keeps going, but that's okay.
Matt's All-Time Fav'sJohn Tesh - Roundball Rock (NBA on NBC Theme)
Okay...this is probably the most random All-Time Fav ever. If you are listening to this on Shuffle when this comes on, I'm so so sorry. However, there is a very good reason for including this in here, I promise! I actually just started working for NBC as the music supervisor for all of their promos for NBC and NBC Sports, so I'm already positioning myself to figure out a way to get this back on the air even though NBC doesn't have the NBA anymore. So sorry about this...but you really can't deny how great it is.
