Happy August, friends! I know I'm a day late, but my-oh-my was July a whirlwind! I always look forward to a new month, especially now that I know I'll have a new playlist from Matt to enjoy! (If you haven't been following along, be sure to check out Matt's full repertoire of playlists over on Spotify.) I am also looking forward to being back at home and trying out some new recipes in the kitchen-- I have been on a roll ever since we returned from vacation. I made this earlier this week and am obsessed! Any favorite summer recipes you have been enjoying? Besides week day dinners, we have been trying to squeeze in some evening hikes while it's still staying light later and I have been trying to finish off the stack of books I bought back in June. I severely overestimated how much time I would be spending reading this summer and am trying to polish them off before fall! What are you up to this month? It's going to be a good one... I can feel it!
Mikky Ekko - Kids
By now, you probably know I like this dude. Here's the new single. It's great.
Kings Of Leon - Supersoaker
KOL are back!
Little Comets - Jennifer
This one is for you Jen!
Robin Thicke - Take It Easy On Me
"Blurred Lines" is taking over the world at the moment, but his new album is pretty solid all the way through. Here's one of my favs.
Mikal Cronin - Am I Wrong
Nothing wrong with some fuzzy guitars and a catchy melody.
NONONO - Pumpin Blood
Whistling is the new ukelele.
Sleeping At Last - Heirloom
Probably the most underrated and one of the best songwriters out there. Go listen to all his stuff.
Bastille - Bad Blood
On the verge of complete world domination. Full album comes out next month and is awesome.
Wallpaper. - RRiR
Not sure what it all means, but it's fun.
Jay Z - Oceans (ft. Frank Ocean)
Frank Ocean singing a song called Oceans? Genius. Oh, and Jay Z is pretty cool too.
Wild Nothing - Ride
I like reverb.
ALL TIME FAV:
U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
I defy you to find a better song out there. The intro gives me goosebumps every time. If you have ever had a chance to see them play this song live, you know what I mean.

Hi, i love these playlists and look forward to them. I do have a question, how do you subscribe to a user in spotify?
Hé Ré says
You will need to do this from your computer:
Have the Spotify app running...
In your browser, go to this link: http://open.spotify.com/user/mattmug/playlist/4sK51nKBftamgM3Qn23T1K
It should open in your browser & then also open & start playing the playlist in Spotify.
Under the name of the playlist you will see "by Matt Mugford"
Click on his name & his profile should open.
Then click Follow
That should work...
If you want to find the link to for another playlist click on the icon in the upper right corner of the playlist that is embedded & it gives you two links.
Use the "Get the link:" one!
