Christmas is so close I can practically smell the coffee brewing at an excited, earlier hour and the cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. Aaron is off all week so we are taking advantage and spending more time than usual out and about this week with Parker checking things off of our Austin bucket list that we just haven't gotten around to yet. (Also, have I mentioned that we have officially lived here for half of a year?! How has it been that long already?!) We stumbled across Paperboy by accident when the east side restaurant we were trying to get breakfast at didn't open until 10 and took to Yelp to find something near by. The rest is history! Discovering Paperboy is going down in the books as one of the happiest accidents ever. I can't recommend the B.E.C. enough-- brioche bun, sunny egg, pimento cheese and bacon so good it melts in your mouth. (Plus, some greens for good measure.) Anyone else been here? Any other spots we need to try for breakfast?

I have been loving these colors that are sort of a twist on neutrals-- golden-hued deep yellows, chocolate brown, and blush pink so pale you forget it's not white. I've recently discovered that I need more camisoles like this blush pink one in my life. Even in the winter, they're just so easy to layer under a jacket with a scarf or under a sweater for an added layer to peek out from below. I'm also pretty small chested so they're easy to wear on their own when the weather warms up without looking too scantily clad.

While you eat next time- that is truly the best Car wash next door. It is a true old school, hand wash spot! We went there all the time when we lived on the east side!

So many good places on the east side! I wish it wasn’t such a hike for me. I’m assuming you’ve had brunch at Launderette? Also, your hair just keeps getting longer and longer in each post. 🙂

I know! It's a bit of a hike for us too right now. I have been to Launderette and loved it! Any other favorites?!
