Anyone preparing for any end of summer vacations? A carry on bag is kind of like a lifeline, especially on a long flight. It is the only thing standing between you and hours of boredom, dehydration, and sleeplessness, so be sure to pack it well! Start with the bag. It should vary depending on the nature of the trip. For China, my carry on bag was a backpack. I was able to use it throughout the trip for things like our Great Wall hike and day trips out to other villages. That trip was much more about utility than style– though it was quite stylish, even for a backpack 😉 For St. Thomas, my carry on bag was, of course, a beach bag. Roomy and spacious, and perfect for toting into town or onto the sandy shores upon arrival. If a business trip is on your calendar, make sure your carry on bag can hold your laptop and other necessities, while looking chic and professional.
