Sunshine. It's C+C's favorite light source. The best way to enjoy it is on a plush daybed, drinking a mojito, under an oversized, fanciful umbrella. Patios are resembling living rooms more and more these days. Almost anything, in any color, can be made out of weather-proof powder coated aluminum. As outdoor fabrics become softer, so does the ice cream in our waffle cones. With our favorite pieces of outdoor decor, C+C is finding it pretty easy to take on the elements.
Here are our PRO TIPS for creating your piece of outdoor heaven:
- Go bold, or tone it down. Both neutrals and color splashes play well in outdoors. Nature uses neon and bright colors all the time and so can you! On the flip side, tonal looks can offer serene escapes from your daily grind.
- Sunbrella offers a huge selection of bright and patterned fabrics. Stripes, especially, look classic and summery on outdoor pillows and rugs.
- Don't be afraid to layer the same way you would in your home. Pendants, rugs, and accessories can belong outside as much as they do indoors.
- Many pieces of outdoor furniture and accessories can be pulled in during those April showers. Since they aren't distinctively "patio furniture", confidently mix them in with your inside setting.

Great picks. I'm about to be outside laying on a sunbed but with a bunch of 8 year old boys, so not exactly mojito time!
