Sometimes I wish as an adult that we had assigned summer reading; that there was someone making sure that we read a list full of books over the course of these three, warm, wonderful months. What was so bad about that anyways? I'm in the process of editing my summer book wish list and getting ready to place a big order before our summer trips in July. All of these are at the top of the list! Have you read any of them? Any other can't miss reads that we have left out? Let us know in the comments! In other news, I spent yesterday afternoon shooting a summer denim trend story with my hubs, one fabulous model from Noties, a stellar hair and make up team, and my own team that I couldn't live without. Stay tuned next week for the full story! Have a great weekend, you guys! Xo

I read Grace: A Memoir earlier this year and absolutely loved it. No doubt, you'll love it too.
I just found your blog today (through SMP Living) and I'm so glad I did!

Thanks for putting these great books into different categories 🙂 I am going to stick with the "faraway places" section! I think a great book for you to read this summer is "The Facebook Diet" by author Gemini Adams (http://www.unplugseries.com/). It is a very FUNNY and quick read (a good plane distraction for sure on your travels!). The author explores the humorous side to our Facebook adoration by noting and illustrating the many weird and wonderful obsessive behaviors that people exhibit as a result of Facebook. There are 50 comical cartoons that all start with the line, "You know you're a Facebook addict when..." It's an entertaining and enlightening read that really looks at how good, bad, healthy, connecting, isolating, or addictive is Facebook? I have shared it with my social media obsessed friends and we all really enjoyed it. Hope you will give it a read!
