So, yea, this post was definitely supposed to go up last week along with a pretty awesome playlist from Matt, but that definitely didn't happen! It's been a crazy couple of weeks. I have been working on a new gig that's been fun, awesome, insane and everything in between. The big shoot is tomorrow and then we should be back to our regularly scheduled programming around here. I started with this capsule wardrobe around the second week of May, so here we are about a month later. I've noticed there are some things I still haven't even worn once and definitely shouldn't have included. On the other hand there are pieces like this shirt that I spent more on than I usually would, but that I seriously can't stop wearing. It's so easy to dress up or down and it looks pulled together and effortless all at the same time. Plus, it's color that's not like in your face color which is my favorite type of color. Hope all of your weeks are off to an amazing start! Go get 'em tiger!

Love this idea so much, but I've never seen it done for an ultra warm climate. What do you do when layering is not an option? No jackets, no scarves, and absolutely no pants. Is it possible to keep it cool & still look professional? This is such a struggle!

Warm weather definitely presents limitations. I still think you can stick to mostly tanks, tees, shorts, skirts, and dresses and then mix up different accessories to keep it fresh-- jewelry, sunglasses, cute shoes, and even hats can totally change a look!

I would love to hear more about your choices for the summer capsule wardrobe. What would you do differently? I'm still trying to work up the courage to try it.
