Happy Monday, friends! If you're wondering what I'm doing, odds are I'm sitting at the bar with a cup of coffee trying to decide where the weekend went. Did you guys celebrate Easter? I worked through much of Friday, but then started the weekend off with family early Friday evening and kept that trend going through much of the next three days. It was food-filled and pretty blissful. Plus, we can all wear white now, right?! (Clearly, I've never followed those rules.) Speaking of being a rule breaker, I've been thinking a lot about spring colors lately. Sure, bright white, blush pink, and myriad of other pastels are having their much deserved hay day right now, but that doesn't mean you have to wear them just because it's spring. I've known plenty of friends and clients alike that just don't resonate with those hues, so don't feel like they're a must for you, too. There's plenty of ways to dress for spring without dressing in a sugary sweet palette. For starters, if the colors are dark, go for lighter weight fabrics like this silk peplum tank. While decidedly dark, the embroidered flowers give it a very spring feel. Also, punch it up with a little dose of a bold accessory like these candy apple red sunglasses.

I love your top! It reminds me of one that I wanted by Sea but with a lot nicer price tag!
