Have you ever paid attention to how your style choices overflow into all of the different parts of your life? There are similar, overlapping details in beauty packaging that I love and the Heath Ceramic coffee mugs I have been coveting. Similarly, I will see a piece of art that I immediately gravitate towards and can see the resemblance in the details of it and a leather bag that I have been making heart eyes for. I love the black and white color palette of this dress with the blush detail of the beanie-- I feel like it softens the look-- and realized as I was writing this post that I have already pinned the living room versions of it here and here. (My friend Catherine has such a distinct aesthetic and it overflows into everything from her dining room to her daughter's wardrobe in the best possible way.) If your favorite outfit was a room, what would it be?!
Dress, Madewell || Tights, Wolford (the best tights ever) || Bag, Old Navy || Blush Beanie, Madewell || Boots, Swedish Hasbeens || Tassel Bracelet, Madewell || Angled Cuff, Noonday Collection
I love how versatile this dress is. You could wear it with ripped jeans for an edgier look or in the summer on it's own with great chunky sandals. I also love the idea of it all bundled up with a patterned scarf like this one. I've been wearing this blush beanie on repeat lately. It's been perfect for the cooler weather, plus less hair maintenance!
