Solvang Style

Aug 15, 2013 ·

hamletinn

Last month, we (Caitlin & Caitlin) were thrilled to take a drive up the coast to witness two of our favorite clients get hitched. Set against the backdrop of a Santa Ynez Valley vineyard, they exchanged vows at sunset, teared up during touching toasts at dinner, and then threw one hell of a dance party. It was a ball.

Solvang

The guests all stayed in Solvang. If you haven’t been, it’s a small danish town about 45 minutes inland from Santa Barbara. It was settled by danes over a hundred years ago and the one main drag is packed with inns, bakeries, and nostalgia shops.

In searching for our weekend digs, we came across the Hamlet Inn. Arguably the cutest accommodations in Solvang, it featured modern sensibility with a touch of Camelot whimsy. We had a fabulous room with two queen beds, a lounge area, and a view of the bustling street below.

We love the laid back, Danish mod vibe. Here’s how you can incorporate it into your home:

The town looks like Disneyland but real! And the Hamlet Inn looks adorable!

I've never heard of this town before it looks so cute!
