I'm not even sure where to begin to describe my love of reading to you. I have loved it for as long as I can remember. I would read the Little House on the Prairie book series over and over until the pages wore thin and my mom finally forced me from the floral comforter on my bed to the backyard. It's not just books either. Magazines, the back of cereal boxes, plaques on buildings. If you take me to a museum, I will read every last information card next to every last exhibit before calling it a day. I'm always on a quest to read more books-- though some months are more successful than others-- so I thought I would share my favorite books from this past year before diving fully into this new one. I would love to hear what your favorites were, too! I also just signed up for my first Audible membership and am super excited about it. My running play list was getting really old and I have listened to what feels like every possible podcast. I'm so excited to be able to get through more books this year while working out or driving around town. Have you guys tried Audible? They're offering our readers a free one month trial if you'd like to check it out! Keep reading for my favorite books I read this year and for Audible's Best of 2016 Book List...

Loved All the Light We Cannot See. I would be interested in your thoughts on Sweet Bitter. I’m not sure about that one, but Commonwealth and the Nightingale are both on my reading list!
In regard to Audible, you should listen to anything narrated by Jim Dale. I could listen to Around the World in Eighty Days on repeat - so soothing!
