New York Bound

Sep 7, 2012 ·

Did you all check out this post over at Camille Styles earlier this week?  I loved the way Aaron's photos turned out... even if I might be biased 😉  I am heading to New York bright and early tomorrow morning for a couple of meetings, a few fashion shows, and some much needed quality time in one of my favorite cities.  What are all of you up to this weekend?

If you want to follow along on my fashion-filled weekend, feel free to follow along here.  I am staying here for the first time and am super excited about it!  Any favorite NYC shops and restaurants I should check out over the weekend?  I love a good recommendation!

My must hit list of restaurants when I go are:

Norma's (inside of Le Parker Meridien, yummy brunch/breakfast)
    L'Orange Bleu (French-Morrocan in SOHO near Balthazar's)
Magnolia Bakery (although they have one in LA on 3rd St now)

Hill Country BBQ is also great if you're craving some Blue Bell and Shiner. It's in the Flat Iron area. They have some excelent margs and Elgin Sausage as well.

I also miss Top Shop and Henri Bendel. Bendel's is great for accessories and gifts. And the one on 5th is SO much better the the little boutique in the Beverly Center.

Such a good list! Hill Country BBQ was super close to our hotel so I made a point to stop in for a little snack-- just like being back in Austin! Hope you are well! Xo
