New Year's Eve (Bump) Style

It's kind of amazing what you can accomplish, change, and do in a year, isn't it?  This time last year we were up in San Francisco bouncing in and out of coffee shops and boutiques and exploring the city before celebrating with friends over an incredible meal.   365 days later, I am amazed at how much has happened since-- exciting opportunities here on the blog, dream styling gigs, trips to three different continents and we're just 13 weeks away from baby girls due date.  (Side note: 365 days later I'm also still talking about the fried chicken eggs benedict that we had on New Year's Day at Brenda's in San Francisco!)  This year's celebration will be much more low key here in LA, but I'm sure there will still be an excuse to get dressed up.  I was over on Camille Styles yesterday sharing a sneak peek at this year's NYE look.  The cliff notes?  A few gold details and some great red lipstick go a long way!

Who says you can't rock an all leather dress while pregnant?  This little number isn't maternity, but it's a-line shape leaves plenty of room for this ever-growing bump.

How are the rest of you spending the week?  Are most of you back at work already?  It will be pretty quiet here on the blog the next couple of days.  It's been a really busy fall for both Aaron and I, so we are going to lay low for most of this week and then head of up to Big Sur for a long weekend and little rest and relaxation.  It seems like the perfect way to start off a new year… and like our last opportunity for a long, leisurely road trip for awhile!
