One Piece, Two Ways || White Shirt

Aug 24, 2015 ·

With September madness just around the corner, Aaron, Parker, and I spent the weekend relaxing with friends in the backyard and mostly just taking it easy.  (Aaron and I even managed to squeeze in dinner and a movie Friday night-- the best!) I will be in New York the week after Labor Day for a couple of work projects and have already started the mental packing list of what I can wear that's cool enough for dashing around the city in what's sure to be humid weather and pulled together enough for meetings.  If you know me, then you know the white shirt is my answer to just about every wardrobe conundrum!  (Here are a lot of other ways to wear a white shirt, too!)

This gauzey cotton white shirt is simple enough for denim cut-offs and a day at the beach, but really pulled together when paired with this Madewell skirt and Noonday necklace.  Plus it's one of those "it's kind of supposed to be wrinkled" materials which is great for packing and just life in general... agreed?!  (PS. How great is this Noonday necklace from their new collection?!)

Then there's this band collar button up with a pair of button up jeans that just feels easy and appropriate for just about every week day occasion.  I would also totally wear this with cute sneakers on the weekend for relaxing with my people.

Which look do you prefer? Hope this week is off to a great start for ya friends!

Both of these looks are so good! You can't beat a white button up.

Two is classic, but I love you in look one! I’m bummed those Anthro shoes are sold out. I put them in my cart a few time but never purchased... really regretting it now!

I can't choose! I adore the skirt and I love how buttoned up you are. I love the necklace, too. I think the sunglasses make the second outfit, though. I want those!

That second outfit is PERFECTION. I'd totally wear it every day. But the shoes!!!! Where from?!??

Thanks, Maggie! I updated the links-- they're from Anthropologie, but sadly they're sold out. Will look for some similar ones!
