My Style // Wearing Many Hats

Since we’re kicking off the third week of January today, I think it’s finally time to put away that “Happy New Year!” greeting and come to terms with the fact that 2015 is in full swing!  Have you embraced the new year?  In 2015, I’m embracing all of the many hats that I wear– mama, wife, stylist, blogger, friend– and worrying less about making sense of it all.  It’s so easy to waste precious time worrying about how much time you’re spending on one part of your life rather than another.  You just have to do what you have to do, you know?  Some days I’m juggling styling jobs and Parker spends more time than usual with the babysitter, but other days we stay home and have a leisurely pancake breakfast in our jammies followed by a trip to the zoo!

Speaking of wearing many hats, I’ve sort of been on a hat rampage lately.  No hat is safe, I want them all!  Not really all of them, but this hat was a must.  It’s the perfect hat for any season and makes a seemingly intimidating accessory very accessible.  Also, apologies to all of you braving winter temps for the bare legs.  It’s been pretty warm around here.  (Any Australian readers?!  This looks for you!)

Now it’s time for you to dish:  What are your tips for mastering the great working mama juggle?

PS. I’m soaking up all of the California sunshine while I can.  I’m headed to speak at Alt later this week and have a feeling I’m going to be out of my element!
