Whether you're idea of spring break is partaking in wet t-shirt contests and cocktails served up in an extremely tall plastic containers or hiking machu picchu and exploring the galapagos, it's a tradition that I fully support! Every year Aaron gets a week off in the spring and I try to schedule my work accordingly so that we can get away for a little trip. Last year I was 39 weeks pregnant, so we stayed in LA and did some local exploring. Last week we ventured just a little farther and took a road trip to the Ahwahnee Hotel and Yosemite National Park. I wouldn't consider myself extremely "outdoorsy" by any stretch, but this trip was just what I needed to recharge creatively in preparation for what is shaping up to be a very busy spring! (Stay tuned for the full post on our trip!)
Are you headed anywhere this spring? I love packing dresses when the weather is warm! You can dress them up with heels and jewlery or down with flats and a straw hat. You can even pair some with jeans for chillier evenings. Looking for the right dress for you? If you're tall, take advantage of the chic midi dresses. This one is great for every day and I love the color of this one. If you're more straight and don't have a defined waist, look for something without a waist like this or shift like this. On the petite side like me? I love mini dresses for summer that give the illusion of longer legs. (I've got my eye on this one for day!) Plus size? I love a dress that emphasizes your waist line. This one has such fun mix of solid and pattern.
