The term TGIF has never felt more poignant than it has the past few weeks. Aaron has been traveling a ton for the show and I have been styling back to back shoots and keeping up with all of our blog content as well, which means that by the time Friday afternoon rolls around, all three of us are ready for a break! Saturdays have come to mean cozy clothes (like this sweater from Asos), trips to the park with P, and trying out new lunch and dinner spots as a family. Our recent date nights have been renting movies on the couch in our sweatpants and eating a homecooked meal after Parker is in bed. It's not super glamorous, but for this season of life where work is a little bit crazy, it feels absolutely perfect!
This sort of look, albeit eclectic, has become a weekend uniform of sorts. I love an oversized top or sweater-- especially at the park since I'm constantly bending down to get P or goofing around with her. It's cozy, keeps everything hidden, but still has a little flair. Gray jeans are such a staple to me, as are ankle boots. The comfortable chunky heel is key for keeping up with the babe, while still looking put together when we pop over for an early party of three sushi dinner. If we are being honest, the gray beanie was for hiding my crazy grown out roots-- which are gone now! Thank goodness! However, it's still one of my faves.
What's your weekend uniform?
Sweater, Asos / Beanie, Club Monaco (Similar Here and Here) / Jeans, Levi's (Similar) / Boots, Coach (Similar and Similar) / Necklace, J.Crew (similar)
