My Style // Pre-Summer Heat Wave

I am so excited about today, y'all.  I am shooting something new with my good friend Mary and I am just itching with excitement!  I have been thinking so much lately about streamlining my life and focusing on the things I love most and am most passionate about and this new series we are shooting feels like the culmination of all of those things, so I can hardly wait to share!  In the meantime, how is this for a simple summery look?  The week before last, LA was doing her best late summer impression and showering us with ninety degree temperatures, so I did what any wardrobe stylist would do and went shopping.  Oops.  But I did end up with this really great little two piece number so that's a win!

How's the weather where you guys are right now?  Does it feel like spring?  Is it fall?  It's interesting how we can all be experiencing such different climates at the same time, isn't it?  Weather can really color your world, too.  Regardless, I hope your days are sunny this week, even if only metaphorically!  Sending you lots of love from sunny LA.
