My Style // Indian Summer, Fall Wardrobe

What do you do when the weather isn't as cool as you would prefer?  Why, fly to Texas of course! J/K guys!  It's pretty spicy hot here too, but Parker and I are enjoying the change of scenery in central Texas while I'm here for a styling job.  (We're pretty happy about all of the tex-mex and bbq, too!) I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but we're no strangers to indian summers here in LA, so I've learned to dress around it.  This dress, for example, is pretty cool and easy to run around in while it's still warm.  When it begins to cool down, though, I can throw on some black tights and a blazer or oversized scarf and love it all the same!

(Please note the dead leaves masquerading as fall foliage.  We salute your effort, Mr. Tree!)

We are in the middle of a big initiative at our house called, "I have my bag and you have yours" which basically means that I get a purse back all to myself which isn't full of diapers or baby creams and ointments and Parker gets her mini backpack that has all of her goodies in it.  Before we leave the house I always ask her, "Do you have your backpack?".  If not, she runs to find it.  It's pretty cute.  Even cuter than this purse which is saying a lot because I am really digging this new bag!
