I don't know how things are in your neck of the woods, but here in Los Angeles things are heating up! Trust me, I'm not complaining... at least not yet. I love warm weather! It's the perfect excuse to picnic (under the shade), indulge in icy sweet treats (like these!), and go for a dip in the Pacific. More often than not, a trip to the beach is preceded by a little shopping at the promenade or country mart and finished off with a meal at Malibu Seafood or True Food Kitchen, so my swim uniform needs to be able to do double duty off of the sand. I don't know about you, but I'm not the gal who's rocking her bikini top with a pair of shorty shorts while eating fish tacos.
I loved the vibrant colors and fun print of this cover up. It's lightweight and sheer but not overly see-through. This pair of chambray shorts are a summer staple. One of my favorite swim accessories is a lightweight scarf. You can tie it onto a beach bag for added color, wrap it around your waist sarong style or spread it out next to the pool for a very chic towel look. Or you can just play with it in front of the camera like this:
These shoes. J'adore. I seriously can't stop wearing them. Does anyone have any fabulous beach plans this summer? I'm dreaming of Greece, but headed to Austin next week instead!
