My Style // Denim on Denim

A few months ago at Alt Summit, I arrived to Salt Lake City with just enough time to run upstairs, change out of my plane clothes, jump on the bed, and head back down and catch my ride to the Air bnb dinner.  I arrived to the loveliest victorian home and happened to be seated next to the loveliest mama / digital maven / video producer / blogger extraordinaire that you guys probably all already know as Liz Stanley from Say Yes.  Don’t you love when that happens?  When you arrive somewhere knowing no one and leave with new friends?  It’s the best.  We chatted all night about everything from blog collaborations and play dates to cowboy bars and why Palm Springs is awesome. All of this to say, yesterday she was kind enough to have me on her blog talking about style and being a mama (two of my most favorite things!), so I thought I would share it with you guys over here, too.  Hop on over here to see the full post on her site…

This look is nothing new or crazy fashionable, but it’s a staple for running errands with Parker or play dates at the park.  Comfortable, chunky heels are my go-to for making a simple, casual outfit feel more stylish.  What’s your secret for pulling together a casual look?

  1. I have a Daniel Wellington watch as well and I LOVE it! It is so classic and I get endless compliments on it, from men and women alike. I love how you paired it with a denim on denim look, and it’s so chic it can easily go with a dressier outfit. Genius : )

  3. I’ve been rocking the denim-on-denim look to recently! Not something I think I would’ve done before being a mom, but it feels stylish and practical.

Also, I’m giving you a big high five for wearing heels at the park – haven’t been brave enough for that yet!

  4. My laid back look to copy this season….casually chic!!!!
