It wasn’t that long ago– 11 months to be exact!– that I found myself yanking a nightgown over Ever’s almost two-year-old head and wondering why better sleep and loungewear options didn’t exist in the children’s space. I immediately went downstairs and starting putting some thoughts into a document. Two weeks later I booked a flight to New York to attend a fabric show. And yesterday, we launched! So without further ado, meet La Paloma.
La Paloma is a collection of artful and modern children’s sleepwear for artful and adventurous kids, born with the idea of creating better choices for kids to sleep, lounge, and play. These versatile pieces are for dreaming and playing, traveling and exploring. Our all-day gown can be worn both day and night, making it ideal for Saturday morning pancakes in your pajamas! Each gown is produced ethically and made of 100% cotton. They’re super soft yet durable enough to pass down from child to child. All of our prints were custom created for us by illustrator, Jo Faulkner.
We have more styles already in the sampling stage and there are so many more things I want to add, but it’s so important to me that we take our time with each piece, making sure it’s the best it can possibly be.
I hope you’ll hop over to the site today and see what we’ve been working on! As always, thank you for all of your love and support over this last decade. It means the world to me!
