What To Listen To Now || October

The second weekend of ACL kicks off today in Austin, which seems like the perfect time for not only a new playlist from Matt, but a round up of ten of his favorite bands on tour right now. Be sure to click the links below and see if they’ll playing in a city near you soon!  As for the three of us, we hopped a plane to LA yesterday and are laying low in a little East LA Air BNB and soaking up the California sunshine.  I’m working on a project all day today which you can check out in my story if you’d like to follow along!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Thanks for a fun week, friends, and see ya Monday!

Tour starts tonight in LA and I was supposed to go, but my super pregnant wife has a girls night out tonight. When you are a week away from your due date, you get to do whatever you want.

Banks & Steelz
This is a show I might go to in my dreams, but probably never in reality.

Local Natives
If we don’t have a brand new baby, I’m going to see them at the Greek this Friday. The new album is fantastic. This song features one of my all time favs, Nina Persson from The Cardigans.

The Wind and the Wave
Love this duo, and now they are touring with a full band so it’s sure to be a great show.

Bon Iver
Hollywood Bowl? Yes.

The Naked And Famous

I remember seeing them years ago at The Echoplex and then a year later in front of a huge crowd at Lollapalooza. Great live band.

Just saw her at one of her EIGHT shows in LA. EIGHT!!! She can sing really good. It was special.

James Vincent McMarrow
Saw him at sxsw a few years back. His voice is so interesting and warm. This track from the new album is great too.

One of the most underrated bands around today. Taylor Goldsmith is an amazing guitar player and songwriter and the band always puts on a great show.

Kanye West
Have you seen the pics of the floating stage? I might need to check this out when he comes west. Looks insane!!
