Despite all of the peplums and pencil skirts, a-line dresses and silky tops in the world, sometimes nothing is better than your favorite jeans and a great t-shirt. I was in Phoenix on a job for part of last week and am in Georgia this week for another project. When it comes to packing, I love things that don't have to be dry cleaned and are also wrinkle resistant. A drapey tee like this one and my favorite jeans are usually the first in the suitcase! Be sure to check out the full post on Camille Styles!
Just because it's a simple combination, doesn't mean you can't add your own flavor to it. This Lovers + Friends top fits and feels like a tee, but the gold studs make it more stylish and dressed up. I am a big fan of the black and gold color palette combo!
If I were going out in the evening, I might throw these on with some over-dyed black jeans or leather skinnies, but for the day my favorite boyfriend jeans do the trick. (I also wore them like this!)
I'm kind of a minimalist in general, but definitely when it comes to jewelry. I love these brightly colored stackable rings by By Boe. Sometimes I just wear a couple at a time, but this particular day I piled them all on. My bracelet is Forever 21 and the watch I'm wearing is the first Christmas present Aaron ever gave me! He bought it at Wanna Buy A Watch-- one of my favorite vintage shops in town!
I am super into the pointed-toe pump right now. It feels more fashion-forward at this moment than my round toe pumps, so it added a little bit of an edge to this simple jeans and t-shirt look. These are from JC Penney (similar to these) and my bag is a YSL Roady which they don't make anymore. I am obsessing over the new more structured bags at Saint Laurent-- stunning!
Since jeans and t-shirts are major wardrobe staples and I am always looking to try new ones, I would love to know who makes your favorite denim and tees? Do share! Also, if you want to follow along on my travels of late, this is the place to do it!

As much as I am a dress & skirt kind of gal, sometimes nothing feels better than putting on my favorite pair of jeans and a drapey tee! I LOVE your black one, it's equal parts casual and stylish, and I love it! Oh, and I'm obsessed with your pointy toe pumps, they are just fabulous!
