It's Monday which means you've probably already hurdled over an obstacle or two in your morning whether it was pressing snooze, realizing that final glass of wine last night may not have been the best idea, or forgetting about that really important thing that you have to do later today. Have you stopped, though, in the manic of Monday yet to think about how great you are? How capable you are? Yes, you! You can set things into motion, set goals and achieve them, chart your course in a new direction if things aren't going how you like. When was the last time you stopped to pat yourself on the back or set a new goal and set out to reach it? Maybe that could be this morning. Last week I felt like there was no way to possibly reconcile the list of tasks with the hours in the day to do them, despite working to near midnight most nights. Finally, I just took a deep breath and thought, "Do your best." Sound cheesy? Yea, it does to me, too. But it actually made me feel better. That's all we can do right? No amount of stressing or buzzing about is going to help. One thing at time, do your best, and give yourself credit where credit is due, because you're really, really great. (And you have great taste in blogs, I might add!)

I feel ya when it comes to Monday's. I wish I could pull off maxi dresses. I feel like I'm too short. You look really good in it.
