I feel like we have some catching up to do, friends. Aaron was traveling for the past 8 days for work and single mom life felt all encompassing. Thus a little radio silence. While holding down the fort here, I’ve been stocking up on baby snuggles by day and a glass of wine and a stack of magazines by night. This chick goes down around 8 these days and I’ve been stockpiling inspiration and working on some really exciting summer collaborations in the evenings. This weekend, though, I plan on catching up with my hubby and enjoying some outings with Parker– who is four weeks old, by the way! Did you know she is no longer a newborn? Yesterday was her 28th day meaning that today she is officially an infant, not a newborn. Motherhood can be such a contradiction. Sometimes I am just dying for her to take a nap and then a couple hours in I miss her and want her to wake up. There are moments when I am so excited for the days when she can play with toys, enjoy books being read to her, or sit up, but then at the same time I want her to stay this precious, tiny babe. The days sometimes feel like weeks, dragging on, but oh my gosh the weeks they feel like minutes! In addition to all of that magazine perusing, here are some favorite links from around the web this week…
I’m a sucker for outdoor entertaining in the spring and summer, so this was a must read for me.
Because Cinco de Mayo is one of my three favorite holidays…
I always pack snacks when traveling, though I don’t think mine have ever looked this good!
Wishing my hair was long again so I could pull off this beauty tutorial

We usually stick to pretty beginner DIYs over here (based solely on my own DIYing abilities), but I’m dying to try my hand at this one.
I rarely cook dinner when Aaron’s out of town, so I’m excited to get back in the kitchen this week and make this delicious looking salad!
Parker and I have been loving our Oh Joy for Feed diaper bag. Read more about the cause and how it helps moms and children around the world here.
