Happy Hour

Yesterday, I was over on Camille Styles sharing my go-to uniform for a packed day.  Jacket + Tank or Tee + Skinny Jeans.  Trust me, it transcends all types of meetings-- even happy hour with my girlfriends which happens to be my favorite way to end a busy work day!  On this particular day I was squeezing in a quick meet-up with the girls and then heading over to West Hollywood for a tape piece I shot at the Joe Fresh for JC Penney pop-up shop.  This look totally worked for both.

I have been in Australia for two weeks now, and as much as I have loved this whole experience, I have to admit that I am starting to get a little homesick for my friends.  I am definitely due for a week night happy hour when I get back-- you hear that ladies?!  Friendships are interesting, aren't they?  When we're young they are usually dictated by where we go to school or our parent's friends.  As we get older we begin to choose them more intentionally but even now in adulthood they tend to be affected by geography and other circumstances outside of our control.

I almost always have this vintage evening bag in my car-- it is much more appropriate for dinner or drinks than my average day bag.

In a city of 18 million people, I am so grateful for the handful of wonderful girlfriends that I can celebrate with, vent to, and depend on.  All over happy hour, of course 😉
