It's summertime and the livin' might be easy, but it's not always cool, at least not here in the Northern Hemisphere. Luckily here in Texas where the 10 day forecast only reads highs in triple digits, we are insulated with central air, but that hasn't always been the case. My second apartment that I rented in LA, nestled ever so cozily between Sunset and Wilshire lacked something that I never knew I needed until August rolled around: air conditioning. When the temperatures began to rise, my roommate and I would find ourselves standing and chatting in an ice bath on the regular to cool off before heading to bed. What I would have done for this Frigidaire Gallery® Cool Connect Air Conditioner! Keep reading to see how this product might just revolutionize your summer and for more easy home updates you can take advantage of this season!
How sweet is this little dining nook? I love a round dining table these days and I'm all for keeping the styling simple in a small space. We opted for monochromatic white vases and a couple of plants above the cabinetry to keep things simple. As for the light fixture, I love that it's a total statement piece, but because it's white it doesn't overpower the space or make it feel cluttered. Lastly we added this simple wood dish with some of California's finest citrus for a little splash of summertime color! Oh and that Frigidaire Gallery® Cool Connect Air Conditioner. I love that it's not an eyesore like most window units. The sleek white design just blends into the space allowing you to appreciate all of the other design details of the room. Even more than that, though, I love that you can control it from your phone! That means you could punch it up a bit warmer while you're at work and then set it to cool down thirty minutes before you get home. Smart and stylish which I think we can all agree is the best combo!
