Denim on Denim at 34 Weeks + Pregnancy Differences

Jul 10, 2017 ·

There was a rare maternity moment last week where I wasn't in a flowy dress, pre-team lunch gathering, and I figured that it should be documented with a photo!  I feel like I have so fewer photos this pregnancy than I did with Parker which is just the beginning of the differences in my journeys carrying these two babes.  Some of them are trivial like the fact that I loved wearing tight clothes with Parker and now I don't want anything clinging to my body. (Which can probably be attributed to pregnancy in March in Southern California vs. July in Austin, Texas.)  I seriously have used hardly any of my maternity things from my pregnancy with Parker which seems like a waste, but I also haven't bought a lot of maternity this go around, just looser fitting things. On the contrary, other differences probably stem from the experience of having done this before-- not stressing too much about having everything figured out, but knowing that it will all work out.  Also, the procrastination!  I just finally ordered a few things for the nursery so that I can things washed and organized and begin turning our guest room/office/dumping ground for so many things into a nursery!  I also know that my work and business makes it hard for me to get a true maternity leave, but I feel so much better prepared going into that experience this time around. (Which on that note, we are looking for a nanny if anyone has any great Austin-based recommendations.  Is that weird to look for a nanny here? Don't tell Aaron!) But, without further ado, a very big bump, lots of denim and a body that hasn't seen the inside of barre class since 28 weeks:

But, seriously, about this nanny recommendations, friends! Send them my way!
