Anyone else needing an extra boost of caffeine this morning?! We spent the weekend working on some last minute deadlines and unpacking boxes from our move last week, so I'm sort of feeling a little due for some r+r! Luckily, I have a girls trip planned to Nashville in t-minus two weeks and am counting down the days! This time last week in Austin it was 80 degrees and reminding me oh-so-much of sunny Los Angeles before it decided to plummet into to the forties and fifties. (Cue eye roll from all of you living in actual cold parts of the world!) I was getting really used to galavanting around in jeans, clogs, a tee, and my trench coat. The t-shirt would change, sometimes the jeans would change, but the shoes and jacket stayed the same for much of the week and I was totally okay with it. We moved last week while Aaron was out of town actually in sunny Los Angeles and with everything going on the constant of a uniform was the perfect antidote to all of the flux. Now we're bundled up enjoying more sweater weather and, well, I'm not made about that either. What's your current uniform?
clogs, Dolce Vita || jeans, Joe's || tee, Madewell (similar) || trench coat, Rag + Bone (similar, similar, similar) || sunnies, Warby Parker
Anyone have any favorite, can't-miss spots in Nashville?! I haven't been since college and am so excited to sneak in a little shopping and a lot of restaurant hopping!
Do you own a trench coat? I'm always surprised how much I wear it each season. It's truly one of those pieces that can be dressed up or down, worn in fall, winter, or spring, and goes with just about everything!

I am also having a problem with how your blog loads. I will log in and it will only show an old post for a couple of days even when I refresh. The I will go on and there are two or three new posts. This doesn't happen with the other websites I see.
I love Nashville. Biscuit Love is on the top of my list to visit. According to one of the tour guides, it was voted one of the top 10 new places in the US by Food Network Magazine. Not sure if that is true but it is awesome. There will probably be a line but it goes fast.

Hi Jonel! Thats so strange! We were dealing with a cacheing issue that I thought we fixed a few weeks ago. I wonder if you cleared your cookies in your browsing history if it would help? Thanks for letting me know!

I have a black trench coat & I absolutely adore it. I find the tan colour washes me out but black looks good, in my humble opinion. It's such a classic silhouette but can be excellent for elevating an everyday outfit!

Oh I need a black trench! I have a navy one that I actually found at Zara Kids when we were in Australia that I adore, but black is so classic!

I have a navy trench by London Fog but I really want a khaki one. It's so classic.
FYI, whenever I go to your blog from my phone, the latest blog post is 10 things to do this weekend from the beginning of January. Even when I refresh it, it's still the newest post.

Thanks for letting me know! We were having a cacheing issue with the site over the holidays related to our server but I thought we fixed it. The only thing I can think of is maybe because of your cookies and browsing history it might be loading the old version? It might help to clear those things. Please let me know if it persists!
