Anyone else ever feel like a changing season brings about this need for newness or freshening up? I tackled our pantry organization this past weekend, but am scouring the calendar for time to take on my closet. Does this feel early to start talking about seasonal transitions? I've gone from almost no change of seasons (except the inevitable triple digit heat weekends in September in SoCal) to an 80 degree February in Austin! The weather has been so warm here that even the farmers at the farmers market say they're going to start transplanting their spring and summer plants in the very near future. How do you like to freshen things up for a new season? I'm a big fan of rotating pieces in and out of my closet. I find that it makes getting dressed more simple, in a capsule wardrobe kind of way, and also is a way to reintroduce old pieces and make them feel new again! In an effort to keep things simple, if you're looking for a little change in your accessory line up, this Cotton Floss Wrapped Necklace DIY is a really easy way to incorporate some color and make a glam piece feel more boho.
Cotton Floss Wrapped Necklace DIY
What You'll Need:
- Cotton floss in color(s) of your choice
- Scissors
- Jewelry item that you would like to wrap
Method:
This Cotton Floss Wrapped Necklace DIY is super easy and, perhaps, even self-explanatory. You'll want to start by knotting the floss at one end and then carefully and tightly wrapping the floss loop by loop, not leaving any space between the loops. You can even use your finger to push the loops closer together so that there is no space between. This would work well on this piece, this piece, these, even these and so many more!
