Hi, friends! Anyone out there still looking for a New Year's resolution? I know what you're thinking, but hear me out. While all of us are likely accustomed to setting the alarm function in our smart phones, before nestling them to bed on our nightstands just inches from our sleepy heads, there is increasing research that shows how beneficial it is to charge your phone at night in a room other than your bedroom. For starters, cell phones give off what’s known as blue light—a type that studies suggest can inhibit the production of the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin and disrupt our circadian rhythms. It's also so much harder to unplug when your inbox, messages, and social platforms are all at your fingertips. There was also an interesting article that was making it's way across Facebook this week that weighed in on how cell phones in bed are disrupting our closest relationships. Essentially, consider snuggling up to the person next to you rather than your smart phone. As if these aren't reason enough, these 15 alarm clocks might just be stylish enough to convince you-- and way more chic than a cord on your nightstand, don't you think?!

What do you think? Have you ever given any thought to how your cell phone might be affecting your sleep or relationships? Think you could make the switch? Which of these alarm clocks are your favorite? 1 and 10 are at the top of my list, but I still haven't pulled the trigger. This might be an experiment for February... stay tuned!
