Coffee Talk || What I’ve Been Up To and In To Lately

My eyes don’t feel fully open this morning after such a busy week, but that isn’t going to stop me from hopping a plane to Santa Fe today with my mom and two sisters for a quick girls weekend! I feel like it’s been awhile since we (you and I, friend) just chatted, so I wanted to catch you up on what’s been going on and some things that I’ve been in to lately! I would love to hear the same from you!

Aaron has been traveling A LOT this month. Luckily he’s home with the girls this weekend and I know they’re going to enjoy their one on one time with him so much! He is a really incredible dad and they both adore him.

Last week I hosted a fall entertaining workshop at CB2 in partnership with Refinery29 and it was SO much fun. My mom and her two sisters came, as did one of my sisters and one of my cousins and lots of you guys, too. Everyone was so willing to share and chat about hosting ideas and your upcoming parties.  The energy in the room was almost too good!It also prompted me to go home and get our holiday dinner party on the calendar. It took me forever to fall asleep that night!

It finally has gotten chilly here in Austin and I’ve been loving sweater weather! I have been wearing this sweater on repeat! (They finally opened a store here in Austin- YAY!)

Speaking of chilly weather, I hope it sticks around for Halloween! We got a new wagon to prep for the occasion (and just for life in general) and it’s AMAZING!

I know I’m late to the ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ party, but OH MY GOSH! I can’t remember the last time I loved a show that much! I was so sad when it ended after 8 episodes, but also needed a break after the binge watching and went on a week long TV fast to make up for it! The costumes are incredible. I might watch it again just for the costumes!

It’s been almost two years now since I first began dreaming of doing product collaborations.  Some opportunities came along that just didn’t feel right, but then a few weeks ago out of nowhere two opportunities presented themselves rather closely to each other and they have both been such a great fit so far. I won’t share too many details yet, but it’s just something that I’m feeling really energized by and really grateful for.
