While we have covered everything from a cult-fruit margarita to specialty-infused mojitos, sometimes you just can't beat a classic. Not to mention, I love a co-ed party as much as the next gal and I've never met a man dying to sip something that looks this in a public setting. (However, get him alone and I bet he will admit to how delicious it tastes!) Men, just for you (and in honor of my dad's birthday today-- happy birthday, dad!) we are going back to the basics with a classic Manhattan. What could be more manly than a cocktail that begins with the word man? While there are slight variations, a Manhattan is simply two parts (rye) whiskey, one part (sweet) Vermouth and a dash of bitters poured over ice, stirred vigorously, and topped with a cherry.
