5 Under $25

You may have noticed that this is not your typical 5 Under $25 post.  However, it is Super Bowl weekend so we thought we might as well bring you the most delicious game-worthy recipes we could find that you can make without breaking the bank.  We love a good football game as much as the next person, but it wouldn’t be the Super Bowl without delicious food, cocktails, and a Beyonce performance!  First up?  These delicious pork sliders from A Zesty Bite!  (Recipe is available here.)

Super Bowl snacks just got fancier.  I love this asian twist on the typical taco by Alaska From Scratch.  (Recipe available here.)

Serving nachos is really just your excuse to also serve margaritas.  Are you a nacho novice?  Bon Appetit will walk you through the step-by-step to create this fabulous version right here.

Whatever you do, don’t be tempted into grabbing those pre-mixed snack bags on your journey down the chip aisle.  Make this instead!

It doesn’t get much easier or more delicious than these Bacon-Wrapped Jalepenos from I Breathe… I’m Hungry.  They may be far from fat-free, but you can console yourself knowing that they are low-carb, gluten-free, and jalepenose are technically a vegetable!

Hope you all have a great weekend! Who are you rooting for anyways?  As a Californian, I feel compelled to go 49ers, but Aaron is from the Baltimore area so I’m pulled in that direction as well.

  1. Thanks for the feature!

    • My pleasure! I am so glad to have discovered your site– such great recipes and beautiful photography!

  2. Oh my gosh, the bacon-wrapped jalapenos look delicious! I don’t even plan on watching the Super Bowl this weekend, but I might have to make that recipe just because they look so good. Have a great weekend!

    • Did you make them? We did the pulled pork sandwiches and asian slaw, but I am dying to try these as well!
