3 Trends We're Loving for Spring / Summer '18

It feels like 90% of my life is playdates and preschool drop-off, breastfeeding and working from home, so naturally my day-to-day wardrobe is pretty unfussy and practical.  I love lunch meetings and work events, date nights and parties as an excuse to dress up, but the truth is that my favorite denim mini and silk tops just aren't that functional for my current every day. (You can see what I'm actually wearing every day in our March Outfit Highlights on Instagram!)   That being said, I started chatting with one of the gals from By George, one of my favorite stores in Austin, and we thought it would be fun to let one of their buyers, Becky Camp, style me in her favorite trends for spring.  I vetoed nothing and love the pieces she chose! Can we talk about this royal blue print?! I have a feeling you're going to be seeing a lot of this hue for months and months to come.  I actually really love this dress and found it to be super flattering. It would be pretty easy to run around in all day.  I like that the print gives it a more sophisticated air than your average sundress. (Location is June's All Day)

This look is definitely the most on par with my personal style.  I love a good ruffle detail and this micro floral is giving me all the feels!  That embellished Isabel Marant denim jacket is giving me all the feels! That Celine Trio bag has been at the top of my list now for a very long time.

And now to the other end of the spectrum! This one feels the most unlike what I would actually wear, although that Saint Laurent fanny pack was really growing on me by the end! Tie-dye is another trend that's going to be coming to a garment rack near you very soon and staying awhile.
