The Savvy Girl’s Guide To Your Daily Cup of Joe

The_True_Brew_Resized

We here at The Effortless Chic are huge coffee lovers, we travel great distances for our favorite barista or caffeinated beverage. I thought I was quite the coffee addict until hearing that Teddy Roosevelt was the greatest American coffee drinker… consuming a gallon a day. Pretty impressive, right?  Being an avid coffee drinker may say one thing about you, but what you specifically order is even more telling. We decided to talk to our favorite baristas across LA to find out what your preference says about you.  Their answers were actually quite hilarious.  Let this image give you a little insight into what that cute guy behind the counter is thinking next time you order your half-caff 180 degree latte!

PS. Feeling guilty about your coffee addiction?  Nonsense!  Coffee beans are actually the pit of a berry, which makes them a fruit! So continue to consume guilt free, friends!  You might just want to skip on the whip cream from time to time…

Not sure if the description is quite exact, but I’m a latte gal too!

  2. I don’t drink coffee but am a big tea lover, although I prefer rooibos or chai over green tea. But according to this chart I am automatically a yoga lover! ;] I’d like to see a tea-only chart with different kinds of tea.

That is such a good idea Traci! We will have to put something together!
PS. I’m with ya– an iced tropical rooibos in the summer is my favorite!

  3. I’m with Traci, I’d love to see a tea chart too! As I sit here with my Green Jasmine tea, I do have a yoga mat, but it’s basically used as a cat bed. 🙂

So funny! In truth, the chart doesn’t say that you have to actually do yoga 😉

  4. I’m curious about the black coffee description…
I’m wondering if perhaps there is more to this one…
    Such as…

“Rugged, handsome, bold, fearless, and ready for action”

“Favorite Accessory: A parachute, a trusty stead, or a group of wolves used to pull a medical dog sled.”

    Just thinking… =)

    Love this blog.
