Spell It Out

Flowers for the Casa 2

Lately I have found myself trying to soak up every last minute of spring.  From farmers market shopping for the latest produce that’s in season (the grapefruits lately have been incredible!), to getting my hands on all of these wildflowers that are popping up!  My favorite thing about using wildflowers is that they’re supposed to be wild.  No perfectly placed dahlias and ranunculus here, just pops of irreverent bright color and stems in all directions.  If you’re not that comfortable with putting together your own arrangements, than these are a perfect place to get started!

Since we are hosting some smaller events in the next few months, Blair and I were brainstorming ideas for easy and chic arrangements that could cover a myriad of events.  I loved Blair’s idea of spelling out a word with these Anthropologie mugs.  How perfect for a bridal or baby shower?  Or for no reason at all, like the one we made!

Aaron won’t drink hot coffee so I have been putting his iced coffee in these mugs because I think they’re so cute!

    Hi!
I was seeing Craftgawker and I run across you post about these mugs. I thought it was a Portuguese website because the word “casa” means house in Portuguese! But I didn’t found anything mentioning if you have something to do with Portugal…
I am Portuguese, and I LOVED to see this photo! Thank you!
    Kisses from Portugal!
