I truly love the month of September. It’s a bit of mystery, tip-toeing out of summer and giving us glimpses of fall. There is the anticipation of halloween costumes, pumpkins, and family-filled holidays around big crowded tables, without any of the looming pressure to execute said things just yet. Perhaps, my favorite thing about September, though, is the start of a new wardrobe season. Jeans and boots and chunky knit sweaters, oh my! It can be a tricky thing, dressing in September. Especially here in Austin, our highs are ranging over the next few weeks from 73-90, so what’s a girl to wear? I have been loving all of these rust colored dresses that have been popping up lately. It’s such an easy thing to wear while it’s still warm with your tried and true summer sandals or to throw on with knit tights and a clog ankle boot when those temperatures start to mercifully drop. I love colors that are colors but masquerade as a neutral. You can pair this one with so many other shades- navy, black, pale pink, gold… Plus it’s pretty on all skin tones and with all hair colors. There’s literally nothing not to love about this one! Keep reading for a round up of some of my favorites.
