Happy Black Friday, friends! I hope you are waking up content and happy after a full day of family, food, and friends yesterday. Aaron and I were up before the sun this morning catching a train to New York for the day with some of our friends and family! All of my family flew up from Texas for the holiday and my sister has never been to the NYC before, so I decided we had to make the pilgrimage, if only for the day! We will have 9 hours from the time our train arrives in Penn Station until the time our train departs and are cramming as much as possible into that little time frame. I have a detailed agenda complete with subway schedules, directions, and my favorite food and coffee stops peppered in between our sightseeing. It’s going to be freezing, but I’m praying for minimal lines and winds. Wishful thinking? One thing is safe to say: All of yesterday’s calories are bound to be burned along the way!
If you’re avoiding the stores today and staying snuggled indoors, hop on over and check out some of our favorite reads from around the web!
