Have you tried this trend yet?  It was one of my favorites for fall and I’m surprised how into it I still am heading into spring.  I love the idea of a printed skirt with a cute printed top– Think floral with stripes or polka dots and paisley.  I am getting ready to take a little trip to the southern hemisphere (yay!) next week where it is quite a bit warmer than here.  Besides cramming in weeks worth of work into one, I have been trying to figure out how to cram weeks worth of vacation clothes into one suitcase!  (I have a very strict personal rule that limits me to one suitcase per trip.  I do enough shlepping as a stylist, I’d rather not when I’m on vacation!)  The best part about this mixed prints trend for spring and summer is how easy it makes packing!  You can mix and match all of your favorite tops and bottoms until your hearts content.

Love her floral pumps!

By keeping the color palette similar, this gal was able to tone down the look and keep it more understated.  Something to consider if you’re not sure about the trend.Mixed Prints - 3
