I know men in brogues aren’t exactly anything new these days, but I just can’t stop staring anytime I pass Grenson shoes in a menswear department– so dapper.  I love the camel and chocolate leathers and adore the Fred brogue boot…  And just when I was beginning to think that guys got to have all of the fun, the stars all aligned and I discovered that they also make womenswear.  Wow.

Last night we celebrated the beginning of fall (more optimistic than mourning the end of summer) with a cookout at a friend’s place in the Hollywood Hills.  Twelve of us cozied up under heavy knit sweaters and fleece blankets around the smoky fire pit as the temperatures dropped in true fall fashion… and it was then that I made my peace with the end of summer.
