There’s nothing better than swimsuit weather, if you ask me. The temperature here seems to be in constant fluctuation– up, then down, just tiptoeing the line between cool breezes and warm bursts of sunshine. Aaron and I are actually taking a much needed vacay before baby number two in two weeks to Stockholm. (Thanks to Zika it’s hard to travel anywhere tropical while pregnant at the present, but I’ll be dreaming of coming home, baring the bump, and taking a dip in Barton Springs upon our return!) One thing I’ve learned over the years is that nothing makes a person feel more confident in a swimsuit than finishing out the whole look– hat, sunnies, cover up or swim dress, and cute shoes. Lucky for us all, it’s a banner year in swimwear. Think chic color combinations, gauzy natural-fiber cover ups, and retro sunnies and hats that look equal parts St. Tropez and Tulum. I lived in these Hackwith Design high waisted bottoms last year, but will need look for something with a lower rise this summer to make room for the bump. Any favorites that I missed? Happy Spring Breaking, friends!
