Bedroom Update!

I was meeting a friend for lunch in West Hollywood earlier this week and may have detoured into West Elm and a mini shopping spree shortly thereafter.  Our living room was so close to being finished and just needed a few little extra pieces.  It was all too much to resist!  The next room on the agenda?  Our master bedroom.  It’s an addition that was added on to the house by the previous owners and it is humongous!  All we have in there now is a king size bed and these two night tables.  They don’t even make a dent in the room, so we are in major need of a great sitting area to warm up (and fill up!) the space.  Here’s what I’m dreaming of…

  1. I love that space! How gorgeous and welcoming. We had a giant bedroom in our house, but moved before we ever completed decorating. This would have been the dream though. Good luck! xo

    • Thanks, Chelsea! Hopefully it will come together here in the next couple of months! I will certainly post photos when it is all done 🙂

  2. Where is that headboard from???

    • The one in the image? I’m not sure. Are you here in LA? I have an awesome furniture designer who can make just about anything. If not, check out Restoration Hardware or a retailer of Cisco Brothers. They both have a lot of linen tufted options.

  3. Hi Jen! I adore the bedroom in the photo! I actually am a little obsessed with seating areas at the foot of the bed (couch/settee and coffee table!) and your post inspired me to write my own about just that! Check it out when you have a chance 🙂
