While we have covered everything from a cult-fruit margarita to specialty-infused mojitos, sometimes you just can’t beat a classic.  Not to mention, I love a co-ed party as much as the next gal and I’ve never met a man dying to sip something that looks this in a public setting.  (However, get him alone and I bet he will admit to how delicious it tastes!)  Men, just for you (and in honor of my dad’s birthday today– happy birthday, dad!) we are going back to the basics with a classic Manhattan.  What could be more manly than a cocktail that begins with the word man?  While there are slight variations, a Manhattan is simply two parts (rye) whiskey, one part (sweet) Vermouth and a dash of bitters poured over ice, stirred vigorously, and topped with a cherry.
