Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall

Two words: studded beret.

Come on!  I don’t wear hats that often, but I could definitely get on board with a studded beret. (Does anyone else spy a blog d-i-y just begging to happen!)  I always love what Marc Jacobs does at Louis Vuitton in general and this pre-fall collection was no exception.  Style.com noted the unmistakeable 1940′s feel that was generated in part by the military accents and also the menswear patterned fabrics that were peppered in amongst those more soft and feminine.  My favorite look above, though, has a very decadent, drop-waist 1920′s feel that makes me want to find a Speakeasy and sip a Mint Julep.   Sub cloche for beret of course.

Most of all, though, I just really hope that Into The Gloss does an in-depth analysis of the make-up because that lip with that eye is just beyond!
